As a senior (2017)
• Played in all 10 games with four starts on the defensive line.
• Made his first career start on the defensive line against Colgate, making a pair of tackles.
• Had one tackle while seeing time on the defensive line at Delaware.
• Recorded three stops against Bucknell.
• Had a tackle and broke up a pass in the win over Princeton.
• Credited with two tackles at Dartmouth and one against Columbia.
• Had a half-tackle for a loss at Penn in the season finale.

As a junior (2016)
• Made his varsity debut on the offensive line against Princeton.
• Moved to the defensive line in week nine after a slew of injuries and saw time at Columbia.
• Made two tackles in the season finale at Penn.

As a sophomore (2015)
• Did not see varsity action after moving from the defensive to the offensive line.

As a freshman (2014)
• Saw action in two contests as a freshman in 2014, posting one tackle.
• Made his first career appearance at Brown, making one stop.
• Saw action against Dartmouth.

• Basanes was named a National Football Foundation scholar-athlete as a senior captain at Georgetown Prep HS.
