At Cornell: Krimm is a big-hitter who has become an important playmaker at strong safety. He has ranked fourth on the team in tackles in each of the last two years with 58 stops. As a junior, Krimm had 30 solo and 28 assisted stops, including 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack. He added five pass breakups and an interception. Krimm posted a career-best 11 tackles and notched nine against both Colgate and Princeton. He had his first career interception at Princeton and notched a pair of pass breakups against Colgate and Brown. He had three tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack, as well as a fumble recovery against Bucknell. He developed into one of the team’s big-play defenders as a sophomore, ranking fourth on the team with 58 tackles (41 solo) and a pair of sacks while starting all 10 contests. Krimm added five pass breakups and a forced fumble. He had nine tackles in four different games, including his first varsity start in the season opener at Bucknell. Krimm saw action in two games as a freshman on special teams. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

At Upper Arlington: A three-year varsity letter winner and team captain as a senior at Upper Arlington HS, Krimm was a three-sport star as a prep player. He was named all-conference as a junior and senior, leading the team in tackles (81), tackles for loss (11) and sacks (4) as a senior. He claimed an interception, forced four fumbles and recovered two more en route to honorable mention all-state honors. Krimm also played running back and was awarded the school’s Iron Man Award. In lacrosse, Krimm helped his high school squad to the 2004 state championship.

Personal: Augustine Walter Krimm is the son of John and Ann Krimm and has a younger sister and two younger brothers.
