At Cornell
Edelson saw time on the junior varsity in 2009 and will have a chance to upgrade into the starting lineup as a sophomore. Edelson is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

At Delbarton
A first-team all-league selection as a senior at Delbarton HS, he was invited to play in the New Jersey North-South All-Star Football Classic. Edelson was also named to the NJFCA Super 100 team. He was an honorable mention all-county pick as a junior by the Daily Record. Edelson was also a two-time first-team all-league wrestler.

Ian McLean Davidson is the son of Joshua and Laura Edelson and has a younger brother and two younger sisters.
