Biography

At Bethel HS
Melvin was an all-state lineman as a senior at Bethel HS and earned the conference’s Leadership Award. A two-time all-league pick, he saw action at center, guard and tackle during his three varsity seasons. A two-sport athlete, he also played on the basketball team and served as captain as a senior. Melvin received the National Army Reserve Scholar/Athlete Award his junior year.

Personal
Ian James Melvin is the son of Emil and Laura Melvin and has a younger sister. He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
