As a senior (2018)

• Had 87 rushing yards and a touchdowns and 14 catches for 135 yards and a score as the offense's swiss army knife.
• Led the team in special teams tackles (7).
• Ran six times for 24 yards and caught two passes in the 2018 season opener at Delaware.
• Caught two passes for 60 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown, in the win over Sacred Heart.
• Carried six times for 24 yards at No. 17 Colgate.
• Scored a touchdown in the win over Brown.
• Caught a pair of passes for 24 yards at No. 17 Princeton.
• Had three touches for 18 yards vs. Penn.
• Posted 27 yards on four touches vs. No. 23 Dartmouth, along with a special teams tackle.

As a junior (2017)

• Registered three touches in the season opener at Delaware, running twice for eight yards and catching a seven-yard pass.
• Saw special teams action in the Ivy League opener at Yale while also earning two carries on offense.
• Missed the final eight games of the season due to injury.
 

As a sophomore (2016)

• Had 46 carries for 144 yards and two touchdowns and caught seven passes for 77 yards in eight contests.
• Also returned two kickoffs for 25 yards.
• Earned his first carries on the varsity in the win over Bucknell to open 2016, rushing four times for 23 yards and catching two passes for 18 yards.
• Scored his first career touchdown in the win over Yale, going in from 1 yard out.
• Caught a 14 yard pass at No. 16 Harvard.
• Had career highs of 22 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown to go along with 135 all-purpose yards against Sacred Heart.
• Had two carries at Brown.
• Led the Big Red with six carries for 24 yards on the ground and caught one pass for seven yards against Princeton.
• Had two carries and caught a 14-yard pass against Dartmouth.
• Missed the final two games due to injury.
 

As a freshman (2015)

• Played in nine contests on special teams, primarily on returns.
• Earned his first varsity letter.
 

At Orange Lutheran HS

• A first-team all-league and all-county selection at Orange Lutheran HS, PicKell played running back, quarterback, wide receiver and safet as well as returning punts during his varsity career.
• Scored 10 total touchdowns and recorded 712 total yards as a senior.
• Averaged 9.1 yards per carry with eight touchdowns on the ground in his final season.
• Was also 3-for-3 passing for 103 yards and a touchdown.
• Was named Player of the Game at the Character Counts Honor Bowl.
• Captained the team in his final season.
• Invited to represent California team in high school all-star game in Australia
• Also competed on the track and field team.
 

Personal

• Joshua Dalton PicKell is the son of Scott and Nina PicKell and has two sisters and a brother.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
