As a junior (2016)
• Played in nine contests at defensive end, collecting nine tackles and a pair of sacks.
• Had a pair of sacks against Princeton, the first of his career.
• Had one tackle in the 2016 season-opening win at Bucknell.
• Made two stops in the victory at No. 25 Colgate.
• Credited with two tackles against both Sacred Heart and Brown.
• Missed the Columbia game due to injury.

As a sophomore (2015)
• Played in five contests on the defensive line, making three tackles with a half-tackle for loss.
• Notched two tackles with a half-tackle for loss against Sacred Heart.
• Made one stop against Colgate.
• Also earned time against Bucknell, Yale and Harvard.

As a freshman (2014)
• Saw action in four contests, posting five tackles with one for a loss.
• Saw time as a reserve on the defensive line in each of the team’s first four games before earning his first start against Lehigh.
• Made a career-high three tackles against the Mountain Hawks.
• Made his first career tackle, a tackle for loss, in his first collegiate home contest vs. Yale.
• Also had one stop against Princeton.
• Missed four games due to injury.

At Holland Hall HS
• Eaton was an honorable mention all-state selection as a senior on the defensive line at Holland Hall.
• A two-time all-conference pick, he was a first team pick as a senior.
• Eaton earned second team Tulsa all-Metro honors twice and was named one of the top 10 defensive linemen according to the Tulsa World.
• Eaton placed fifth in the conference in the shot put as a junior and senior and also played basketball.

Personal
• James Pride Eaton is the son of Alexander and Diane Eaton and has a younger brother.
• His grandfather, Leonard Eaton, attended Cornell.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
