As a Junior (2014)
• Played in the first nine games as a reserve linebacker.
• Matched a career-best with three tackles and had his first career sack against Lehigh.
• Had two stops at Harvard and vs. Dartmouth.
• Had a career-best three tackles against Yale and recovered a fumble 14 yards for a touchdown to get the Big Red on the board.
 
As a Sophomore (2013)
• White earned his second straight varsity letter after posting eight tackles in his 10 contests in 2013, including a career-best three in the season-opening win over Bucknell.
• A key nickel back who also saw significant time on special teams, he registered a pair of stops against both Princeton and Dartmouth.

As a Freshman (2012)
• White saw action in six contests as a freshman in 2012, both as a backup at corner and on special teams.
• He earned his first letter while making four total tackles and breaking up a pass.
• He saw significant time at nickelback against Monmouth, making a tackle and swatting down a pass attempt in the comeback win.

At Isidore Newman School
• White was an all-league and all-district selection as a senior at Isidore Newman School.
• The team’s most valuable player, he earned a spot in the Lake Pontchartrain All-Star Classic.
• White ran for 700 yards and eight touchdowns in just seven games and caught two touchdowns as well.
• He ran for more than 1,100 career yards.
• White served as team captain for both the football and track and field teams.

Personal
• James Edward White is the son of Diane Hatch and has two older brothers, the late Kevin Jones and Terrel Jones.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
