Biography

At Cornell
Rodriguez missed the 2013 season due to injury and will attempt to get back and healthy for his senior season. He will also be adjusting to back to wide receiver after spending parts of the last year in the defensive backfield. Rodriguez earned his first varsity action with an appearance against Monmouth after spending his rookie year on the scout team.

At Belen Jesuit Prep
Rodriguez was a two-time all-county selection as a wide receiver at Belen Jesuit Prep, and in his junior season he helped the team finish as the state runner-up. He was a two-year letter winner and three-year member of the football team, and a five-year letter winner in track and field. In his junior year Rodriguez was part of a 4x100 relay team that won the state title, and in 2007 he helped Belen Jesuit Prep become the Florida Track and Field state champions. Rodriguez also won the regional title for both the long jump and 100m in 2010, and graduated as a three-time district long jump champion. Rodriguez was a honor roll student, and received honors medals in English and Theology.

Javier Alexander Rodriquez is the son of Jose Rodriguez and has two younger brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
