2022 I FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR SEASON
Played in the team's first five contests before suffering a season-ending injury, making two tackles as a reserve on the defensive line ... credited with tackles against both VMI and Lehigh.

2021 I SENIOR SEASON
Played in all 10 contests as a reserve defensive lineman and on special teams, posting six tackles with a half-tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry ... made his varsity debut against No. 22 VMI ... his first career tackle went down for a TFL against No. 22 Harvard ... made two tackles and had a quarterback hurry vs. No. 15 Princeton ... credited with a tackle in the win at Penn ... had two stops in the season finale against Columbia.

2020 I JUNIOR SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Missed the entire season due to injury.

2018 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Did not see varsity action ... joined the team as a walk-on.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Two-time all-conference selection at Summit HS ... played fullback, tight end and on both the offensive and defensive lines ... served as team captain his senior year ... selected to play in the 2018 New Jersey Snapple Bowl All-Star Game.

Joseph Steven Shepard is the son of Noel Spillane and has an older sister ... he is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
