Cornell University Athletics

As a junior (2015)
• Started all 10 games at right guard.
• Was part of an offensive line unit that started all 10 games together.
• In his first season as a starter, Cornell’s total offense, rushing and passing yards were all up over the previous year, all the while allowing fewer sacks and converting a higher percentage on third downs.

As a sophomore (2014)
• Earned his first career playing time on the offensive line at Bucknell.
• Played in nine total games as a reserve to earn his first varsity letter.

As a freshman (2013)
• Foster spent his freshman campaign as part of the scout team in 2013 and did not see varsity action.
• He is expected to be in the mix while competing for a position on the offensive line this coming year.

At Scituate HS
• A three-year starter on both lines at Scituate HS, Foster was a two-time selection to the all-league and Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic teams.
• A team captain as a senior, he was part of a league championship squad as a sophomore.
• A four-year starter and letter winner on the basketball court as well, he was a two-time team captain and was part of four straight league championship squads and one sectional title team.
• Foster was a three-time Patriot Ledger All-Scolastic team member in basketball.

Personal
• John Ernest Foster is the son of Ernest and Barbara Foster and has two older sisters and a younger brother.
• His sister, Sarah, is Cornell Class of 2014.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
