Biography

At Cornell
Nitti did not see any varsity game action during the 2009 season. He joined the team as a walk-on prior to the 2007 campaign and has seen action on the junior varsity at both quarterback and tight end the last three years. Nitti possesses good size and athletic ability and will attempt to crack special teams in 2010. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

At Half Hollow Hills East/Peddie School
Nitti was a two-year captain and three-year starter at quarterback at Half Hollow Hills East HS before starting behind center in his one year as a postgraduate at the Peddie School.

Personal
John Michael Nitti is the son of John and Patricia Nitti and has a younger brother and two younger sisters. His father played football at Yale and in the NFL for the New York Jets and the New York Giants, while his mom competed in the high jump at Auburn.
