Biography

At Cornell: After three seasons as a reserve, Ruch is a candidate to join the rotation of defensive linemen in his final campaign. He has seen playing time on the junior varsity each of his first three years and has a strong feel for the team’s defensive schemes. Ruch is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

At Allentown Central Catholic: A first-team all-league selection as a senior at Allentown Central Catholic HS, Ruch was a second-team all-area pick. The three-year varsity letter winner was chosen to play in the Lehigh Valley All-Star Game after his senior season. Ruch served as team captain in 2004 and helped his team to a district title as a junior.

Personal: Jonathan William Ruch is the son of Frederick and Ruth Ruch and has an older brother.
