At Cornell: Tuttel brings impressive size and tremendous potential to the offensive line. He will have an opportunity to earn a starting spot with a good fall camp. Tuttel made his varsity debut in the win over Columbia in 2007. He saw action on the junior varsity as a freshman and also earned a spot on the travel roster. Tuttel is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

At Sidney Central: Tuttel was named first-team all-state on the offensive line after helping lead Sidney Central HS to the Class C state championship as a senior captain. He was selected to play in the Ernie Davis Classic football game in his final season after recording 74 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery as a defensive lineman. A two-time Daily Star all-area team member, he earned the State Farm Offensive Lineman of the Year award as the best lineman in the area in 2005. Tuttel also played on the basketball team as a two-year starter, as well as competing in the shot put and discus in track and field.

Personal: Jordan W. Tuttel is the son of Don and Amy Tuttel and has an older brother.
