Biography

As a junior (2014)
• Saw action at fullback and on special teams in all 10 games of 2014.
• Earned his second varsity letter.
• Made one special teams tackle in the win over Columbia.
 
As a sophomore (2013)
• A former walk-on, Gallo earned his first varsity letter as a sophomore in 2013 after moving from linebacker to fullback.
• An excellent blocker who will also be asked to catch passes out of the backfield, Gallo played in nine total contests and had one carry against Harvard.
• He earned starts against Yale, Colgate and Harvard after seeing his first collegiate action in the win over Bucknell.

As a freshman (2012)
• Gallo played as part of the scout team as a freshman in 2012 but did not see varsity action.

At Modesto HS
• Gallo was an all-league selection at tight end, linebacker and kicker at Modesto HS.
• He served as captain as a senior, earning a pair of letters on the girdiron.
• He also played baseball and competed in track and field.

• Julian Thomas Gallo is the son of Thomas and Karen Gallo and has an older sister and a younger brother and sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
