Brown played in nine games with two starts and ended the season with 17 tackles, a pair of pass breakups and a tackle for loss in 2013. Brown posted his first career tackle for loss at Monmouth and made a tackle and broke up a pass vs. Harvard. He also broke up a pass against Bucknell and had a season-high four stops against both Brown and Princeton en route to earning his second varsity letter. Brown earned the start at corner right off the bat and ended his freshman season among the team leaders in tackles (44) while recording two pass breakups in 2012. He ended the year having played in nine games and started each one, missing one contest due to injury. Brown had 10 tackles in the win over Princeton and made seven stops at Fordham. He had five tackles in four other games with pass breakups against Bucknell and Columbia.

At El Segundo HS
Brown was a two-time all-league selection at cornerback for El Segundo HS. He was part of a pair of Pioneer League championship teams and was invited to play in the 2011 California state and Lions All-Star games. A two-time winner of the team’s scholar-athlete award, the senior captain also took home trophies for most inspirational and most dedicated during his career. Caught three touchdowns at wide receiver as a senior and made 45 tackles with four interceptions on the defensive side of the ball. Brown also played one season of basketball and was a three-year letter winner in the sprints in track and field.

Personal
Kendall Dennard Brown is the son of Randy and Kotheldra Brown and has two sisters. He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
