As a senior (2021)

• Played in all 10 contests at tight end and on special teams.
• Excelled in downfield pass blocking and on return and coverage teams.
• Made a tackle in the win at Penn.
 

As a junior (2020)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a sophomore (2019)

• Made the travel roster as one of the Big Red's backup quarterbacks.
• Earned his first varsity action in the season-ending Empire State Bowl victory over Columbia.
 

As a freshman (2018)

• Did not see varsity action.
 

Prior to Cornell

• A three-sport athlete at Amos Alonzo Stagg HS, Neputy was a two-year varsity starter at quarterback.
• A four-year captain, he closed his career fourth on the school’s career touchdown pass list.
• Neputy led the team in touchdowns twice and captured Player of the Week accolades in three different seasons.
• He was selected to receive both the Team Pride Award and the Team Leadership Award in multiple seasons.
• The recipient of an NFL Players Association/Professional Athletes Foundation (NFLPA) Student Scholarship, Neputy also lettered in basketball and baseball.
 

Personal

• Kyle Robert Neputy is the son of Carolyn Sanderson. 
• His father, Darren Neputy, played football at Illinois State.
• His uncle, Shaun Sanderson, played baseball at Bradley.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
