Biography

As a senior (2018)

• Played in all 10 contests, hauling in 23 passes for 311 yards and three touchdowns.
• Led the team in receiving touchdowns and ranked second in receiving yards and third in receptions.
• Hauled in three passes for 19 yards in the 2018 opener at Delaware while earning his first career start.
• Made one reception for 23 yards against Yale.
• Had two receptions for 16 yards in the win over Sacred Heart.
• Had one catch in the win over Harvard and the loss at No. 17 Princeton.
• Hauled in three passes for 100 yards and a 59-yard touchdown, his first collegiate score, in the victory at Brown.
• Caught a 13-yard touchdown and had three catches for 36 yards vs. Penn.
• Hauled in five receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown against No. 23 Dartmouth.
• Closed the season with five catches for 54 yards at Columbia.

As a junior (2017)

• Saw time in all 10 games of 2017.
• Made his first career catch against Columbia, good for 13 yards.
• Had a career-best six catches for 57 yards in the season finale at Penn.
 

As a sophomore (2016)

• Played in all 10 contests on special teams, recording three tackles, including two in the win at No. 25 Colgate.
• Earned his first varsity playing time in the 2016 season-opening win at Bucknell, making a special teams tackle.
 

As a freshman (2015)

• Pedersen did not see varsity action as a freshman, competing on the junior varsity squad.
 

At St. Joseph HS

• Pedersen was a two-time first-team all-state selection as a wide receiver at St. Joseph HS.
• Broke nine school records, including career receiving touchdowns (25), total receiving yards (2,061) and interceptions in a season (six).
• Had 3,923 career all-purpose yards and 42 touchdowns.
• Caught 45 passes for 736 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior while running for 538 yards and nine scores and passing for two more scores.
• Also posted 132 points, including 22 touchdowns, as a senior captain.
• Made 169 career tackles on defense with 15 interceptions, 39 pass breakups, five fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and a blocked kick.
• Hauled in 60 passes for 1,060 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior while making 75 tackles with two interceptions.
• Helped his team to a pair of state titles, catching touchdowns in both championship games.
• Was a three-time all-league pick.
• Named a National Rivalry Scholar Athlete as a senior and also earned the Blue Streak Player of the Year.
• Also competed in freestyle skiing, earning an Eastern title in moguls in 2010.
 

Personal

• Lars Kenneth Pedersen is the son of Mark and Wendy Pedersen and has an older sister.
• His father (Connecticut), uncle James (Maine), grandfather Norman (Bridgeport) and great uncle (Tennessee) all played college football.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
