Biography

As a junior (2015)
• Played in all 10 contests, making six tackles while also returning kicks and punts during the campaign.
• Uceta had a strong 2015 opener on special teams, including returning three punts for 37 yards with a career-long 26-yarder.
• He also returned two kickoffs for 38 yards.
• Had one special teams tackle against Colgate and two at Princeton.
• Moved to the defensive side of the ball during the fall of 2015.

As a sophomore (2014)
• Team’s primary kickoff and punt returner in 2014, seeing action in all 10 contests.
Caught one pass for eight yards, ran the ball three times and posted 806 all-purpose yards.
Finished seventh in the Ivy League in kickoff return average (18.6 yards per return).
• Piled up 125 all-purpose yards in the 2014 opener against Colgate, including 111 return yards.
• Had 83 total yards in the loss to Bucknell, 96 on four kickoffs at Harvard and 81 on six kickoffs vs. Lehigh.
• Returned five kickoffs for a career-high 121 yards vs. Yale.
• Had four kickoff returns for 70 yards vs. Dartmouth and five kickoff returns for 77 yards against Penn.
• Moved to corner during the fall of 2015.

As a freshman (2013)
• One of the fastest players on the roster, Uceta spent much of the second half of the season fielding punts and kickoffs on the way to earning his first varsity letter as a rookie in 2013.
• He ranked second on the team in both categories and also ran the ball once for five yards.
• He piled up 267 all-purpose yards in four games (66.8 ypg.), a total that ranked fifth on the team.
• Uceta posted 112 kickoff return yards and 117 all-purpose yards against Dartmouth.

At Maine-Endwell HS
• A second-team all-state running back as a senior at Maine-Endwell HS, Uceta was part of a pair of state championship teams.
• The most valuable player of the 2011 state championship game after running for 117 yards and a touchdown, he rushed for 426 yards on 9.9 yards per carry with 10 touchdowns and two receptions for 95 yards and another score.
• He totaled 935 rushing yards and nine touchdowns as a junior, caught two more scores and returned a kickoff for another.
• Uceta ended that season with four 100-yard games.
