Appeared in eight games ... recorded a five-yard reception against Harvard (Oct. 11)... averaged 12.0 yards per kick return...highlighted by a season-long 17-yard return at Harvard ... also contributed on punt returns, with a season-long seven-yard return at Colgate (Sept. 21).

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Malaga was a three-sport star at York Community HS, leading the football team in receiving in his final two seasons ... earned all-area and all-conference honors as a senior and was named the school's Male Athlete of the Year ... ranked among the school's top 10 receiving leaders in total receptions ... captained the team as a senior ... broke the school's single-game receptions record with 16 catches in a contest ... caught 32 passes for 503 yards and two touchdowns as a junior ... also played four seasons of basketball and two more on the track and field team ... was an academic all-conference choice for the 2020 league basketball champions.

PERSONAL
Luke Andrew Malaga is the son of Scott ‘89 and Beth Malaga and has a sister, Sydney, who is a member of the women’s soccer team at Cornell ... his father is a Cornell Athletics Hall of Famer who graduated as the football team's fourth all-time career rushing leader with 1,925 yards and was a first-team all-conference and honorable mention America selection for the 1988 Ivy championship squad ... he is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
