As a senior (2017)
• Third year as the team’s starting long snapper.
• Scored a 3-yard touchdown on his only career carry at fullback in his final collegiate contest at Penn.
• Played in 30 consecutive contests.
• Made special teams tackles at Yale and Dartmouth, as well as against Colgate.

As a junior (2016)
• Lettered for the second straight season as the team's long-snapper.
• Played in all 10 contests.
• Made a special teams tackle in the 2016 season-opening win at Bucknell.

As a sophomore (2015)
• Earned his first varsity letter as a sophomore after seeing action in all 10 contests as the team's starting long-snapper.
• Made three tackles on returns - one each against Harvard, Princeton and Columbia.

As a freshman (2014)
• Pope saw action in two contests as a freshman on special teams.
• Earned action against both Columbia and Penn.

At Upper St. Clair HS
• Pope was a two-time all-conference selection while starting at fullback, on the defensive line and as the team’s long snapper at Upper St. Clair HS.
• A first-team all-league pick as a senior, he was the MVP of the Rival Bowl Game as a senior for the three-time sectional champions. Pope totaled 712 career rushing yards and 20 touchdowns and caught 22 passes for 376 yards and four scores.
• On defense, he registered 60 tackles with 16.0 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries during his career.
• The team MVP as a senior, Pope captained the freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams during his four years.
• He was invited to play int he East-West Senior All-Star game.
• Pope also played one year of baseball.

Personal
• McFerron Michael Pope is the son of Michael and Lynn Pope.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
