Biography

At Cornell
Maggio moved from the offensive line to tight end during the spring of 2012 but did not see varsity action as he adjusted to the position. He earned his second career letter in 2011 after playing in eight contests, including seven starts at right tackle.He had quickly emerged as a starting tackle for the Big Red during his freshman season before being injured and missing the final five contests in 2010. Maggio made his first collegiate start against Harvard.

At Cardinal Newman
Maggio was a two-time all-league selection at right tackle at Cardinal Newman HS. He was a starter as a junior on a team that earned a spot in the state title game and was second-team all-league and all-district that season. Maggio didn’t start playing football until his sophomore season in high school. He was a three-sport athlete, also competing for four seasons on the baseball team and for one year on the basketball team.

Tucker Kendall Maggio-Hucek is the son of Bob Hucek and Suzanne Maggio-Hucek and has a younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
