• Started all 10 contests, recording 34 tackles with 3.5 tackles for a loss, two pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
• Had three tackles and knocked down a pass in the 2018 opener at Delaware.
• Notched three tackles, including one for a loss, and a pass breakup against Yale.
• Made two stops in the win over Sacred Heart.
• Posted six tackles in the victory over Harvard.
• Posted three tackles, forced a fumble and recovered another at No. 17 Colgate.

• Played in all 10 contests on the defensive line, including earning starts in the last four contests.
• Posted 23 tackles with two for a loss, a sack and a pass breakup.

• Made one stop vs. Harvard.
• Notched three tackles, including one for a loss, against Bucknell.

• Missed the entire season after recovering from an offseason injury.
 

As a freshman (2015)

• Made an impact in five contests on the defensive line.
• Posted nine tackles with three for a loss, including a sack, and forced a fumble.
• Made his first varsity appearance count, making four tackles with a sack against Brown.
• Had a tackle for loss against Ivy co-champ Penn.
• Had a pair of stops at Princeton.
• Forced a fumble and had a tackle for loss at Ivy League co-champ Dartmouth.
 

At East Grand Rapids HS

• Banbury was a first-team all-conference selection as a senior at East Grand Rapids HS.
• Earned all-area honors as a senior captain.
• Was a two-year starter at tight end and at defensive end.
• Helped the team to a playoff bid his senior year.
• Was a first-team all-area selection in baseball.
• Was part of conference, district and area title teams on the diamond.
• Helped his team to the state semifinals.

Personal

• Mason Mullen Banbury is the son of Mark and Laura Banbury and has a younger sister and brother.
• His father played guard at Southern Illinois and was part of their 1983 national championship squad.
• Four uncles played Division I football, while his grandfather played halfback at Penn State.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
