At Cornell: Cosh enters his senior season as one of the favorites to earn playing time on a talented offensive line. A hard worker, Cosh has been on the two-deep in each of the last two seasons. He saw his first varsity action in a reserve role in the win over Columbia during the 2005 campaign. Cosh had a productive freshman season, gaining weight (13 pounds) and strength, while adjusting to the speed of the Division I game. He will have a chance to earn some playing time with another solid spring season behind him and a good fall camp. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

At Canandaigua: Cosh played football for four years at Canandaigua Academy and won two varsity letters. As a senior, he was the team’s captain and was a first-team Finger Lakes All-Star and played in the Eddie Meith Exceptional Senior game. Cosh also lettered in basketball and track and field.

Personal: Matthew Thomas Cosh is the son of Andrew and Margaret Cosh, and he has a younger brother and a younger sister.
