Biography
As a junior (2015)
• Played in all 10 contests at tight end, hauling in 20 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown.
• Made five catches for a career-high 72 yards at Princeton.
• Caught two passes for 12 yards, including a touchdown, against Brown.
• Made two receptions for 31 yards, including a career-high 33-yard reception, against Harvard.
• Caught a pair of passes for 18 yards at Sacred Heart.
• Caught two passes for 12 yards while also splitting out wide and playing some snaps at fullback in the 2015 opener vs. Bucknell.
• Hauled in two passes for 23 yards against Yale and had two catches for 20 yards against Colgate.
As a sophomore (2014)
• Saw significant time in nine games at tight end, including two starts.
• Caught 14 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.
• Hauled in his first career touchdown from three yards out in the season finale against Penn.
• Had a pair of receptions for 44 yards, including a 30-yard reception, against Dartmouth.
• Hauled in two passes for 17 yards vs. Princeton.
• Made five catches for 31 yards against Lehigh.
• Had his first career reception at Bucknell, a 12-yard grab.
• Caught three passes for 17 yards at defending Ivy champ Harvard.
As a freshman (2013)
• Sullivan spent his freshman campaign as part of the scout team in 2013 and did not see varsity action.
At Pittsford Mendon HS
• Sullivan was a first-team all-state pick as a senior tight end at Pittsford Mendon HS.
• The two-time all-county selection served as team captain as a senior and earned All-Greater Rochester accolades in his final season after catching 36 passes for 575 yards.
• Sullivan is the school's all-time leader in both receptions (69) and receiving yards (1,006).
• He was a three-year varsity letter winner who saw action at defensive end, quarterback, punter and place-kicker in addition to his tight end duties.
• Sullivan was also a two-time all-county basketball player as a three-year starter on the hardwood.
• He also captained the basketball squad.
Personal
• Matthew Bronte Sullivan is the son of Peter and Mary Beth Sullivan and has an older brother and younger sister.
• He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
