At Cornell: Bolling brings tremendous experience into his battle for the punting position in 2007. He made a name for himself as one of the Ivy League’s top punters in 2005, providing a strong and accurate leg and good hangtime. Bolling averaged 36.7 yards on 52 kicks and pinned the opponent inside its own 20-yard line on 23 occasions, including at least once in each of the team’s 10 contests. Bolling had five kicks of 50 yards or more, including a career-best 54-yard kick at Dartmouth, and did not put a punt into the end zone for a touchback all season. He opened the 2006 campaign as the starter, averaging 38.4 yards on his seven kicks with one placed inside the 20-yard line. Bolling spent the 2004 season on the junior varsity team. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

At Ann Arbor Pioneer: Bolling was an honorable mention all-state selection in football at Ann Arbor Pioneer HS, lettering twice while punting, kicking and playing both offensive and defensive line. Team captain as a senior, Bolling was a scholastic All-American as a senior. He was also a four-year letter winner in swimming while competing in the backstroke.

Personal: Michael Huey Bolling is the son of Steven and Cheryl Bolling and has a younger sister.
