As a junior (2015)
• Hobson spent the season competing on the junior varsity squad.

As a sophomore (2014)
• Hobson was the team's backup kicker throughout his sophomore season.

As a freshman (2013)
• Hobson spent his freshman season on the scout team after joining the team as a walk-on early in the season.
• He did not see any varsity action in 2013.

At North Bend HS
• Hobson was a three-time first-team all-league selection and a 2012 first-team all-state kicker at North Bend HS.
• He was part of a team that finished as the state runner-up during his senior season. He also played wide receiver.
• Hobson also competed in soccer, twice earning all-league accolades for a three-time league champion squad.
• He earned first-team all-state honors as a senior.
• Hobson also was part of the track and field program that won two league titles.
