At Macomb Senior: Hendrickson was a first-team all-state selection at Macomb HS after posting 1,469 rushing yards and 19 TDs to place No. 2 in school history in both categories. The breakaway tailback graduated tied for No. 2 in career rushing yards (2,666), and alone in second on Macomb’s career TD list with 42. The Peoria Journal Star all-star set a school single-game record with 324 rushing yards in just three quarters worth of work. He also helped his high school team to a state semifinal berth in basketball with a 29-2 record as a junior.

Personal: Myers Eric Hendrickson is the son of Mark and Ericka Hendrickson and has a brother and sister. His father, Mark, is the offensive coordinator at Western Illinois and won a national title at Georgia Tech in 1990 as tight ends coach and special teams coordinator. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
