A second-team Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America selection, Booker-Tandy moved to corner from running back in 2011 and became a major contributor to the defense. Despite missing two games due to injury, Booker-Tandy still registered 27 tackles, ranked second on the team with his three interceptions and broke up three other passes. He intercepted passes against Colgate, Princeton and Dartmouth. A two-time Capital One/CoSIDA first-team academic all-district team pick, Booker-Tandy ranked among the team leaders in rushing (67 carries, 242 yards) and receiving (13 receptions, 131 yards) in 2010. He scored a touchdown both rushing and receiving. Booker-Tandy ran for a career-best 73 yards and 14 carries with a score against Bucknell. He also caught six pass for 70 yards, including his first collegiate touchdown, the prior week against Yale. Booker-Tandy transferred to Cornell from Lafayatte College after his freshman season, and was moved from wide receiver to running back. An electric athlete with the ball in his hands, he scored on a 95-yard run during the 2010 Spring Game.

At Blanche Ely
A second-team all-county wide receiver at Blanche Ely HS, Booker-Tandy earned three varsity letters on the gridiron. As a senior captain, Booker-Tandy posted 428 receiving yards and three scores. He was also captain of the track team as a triple jumper and long jumper. Booker-Tandy was a state finalist in the long jump and a state semifinalist in the triple jump, earning all-county awards in both events.
