Career Stats

At Cornell
A letter winner in each of his first three seasons, Silverman saw time in all 10 games as a reserve linebacker and special teams star in 2011. He registered seven tackles, including two each against both Dartmouth and Penn, and also forced a fumble against the Big Green. Silverman played in all 10 games as well in 2010, posting two of his three tackles in the season-opener at Wagner. Silverman saw action in seven varsity contests as a freshman on special teams.

At Fox Chapel
A four-year starter at linebacker at Fox Chapel HS, Silverman earned all-conference honors as a junior before missing a majority of his senior year with an injury. He led the team in tackles, sacks and tackles for loss as a junior. Silverman was named team captain entering his senior year, He also was a sprinter on the track and field team.

Personal
Richard Martin Silverman is the son of Gary and Lisa Silverman and has two older sisters. Silverman is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
