At Cornell: Mosher made quite an impression as a freshman before going down with an injury, seeing time on the travel squad as a linebacker and defensive end, while also contributing on special teams. He has great size for a young linebacker and will attempt to create a bigger role for himself with his play this fall. Mosher is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

At Red Hook: A second-team all-state selection as a senior, Mosher was named the section’s top back in Class B and was an all-academic pick at Red Hook HS. The first-team all-section honoree was named the Poughkeepsie Journal and Daily Freeman Player of the Year. Mosher posted a team-high 140 tackles as a junior when he was named most valuable defensive player of the section championship. The three-time first-team all-city pick rushed for 1,120 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. At linebacker, he posted 114 stops, including 65 solo tackles.

Personal: Ross Wesley Mosher is the son of Darryl and Debby Mosher and has an older brother and sister. His sister, Brittany, is a senior at Cornell.
