Biography

As a Fifth-Year Senior (2015)
• Elected team captain prior to the 2015 season.
• Opened the season with three tackles against Bucknell, as well as his third career interception.

As a Senior (2014)
• Elected team captain prior to the 2014 season.
• Imhotep ranked third on the team in tackles as a senior, posting 56 tackles, including 33 solo stops.
• Added a tackle for loss, an interception, four pass breakups, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
• Had eight tackles against Bucknell and Lehigh.
• Named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week after posting seven stops with a tackle for loss, an interception and two fumble recoveries in a monster game against Ivy champ Harvard.
• Forced fumbles in games against Brown and Penn.
• Recovered a fumble, broke up a pass and made five stops against Princeton.

As a Junior (2013)
• One of the team’s unquestioned defensive leaders, he was off to a fantastic start in 2013 before he suffered an injury and missed the final eight games of the year.
• Imhotep posted seven tackles, a tackle for loss, a pass breakup and a forced fumble before suffering his injury.
• He opened the year with five tackles, including a tackle for loss and a forced fumble against Bucknell.
• Notched two tackles and a pass breakup before going out with an injury at halftime against Yale.

As a Sophomore (2012)
• Imhotep ranked second on the team in tackles as a sophomore in 2012 (65) and added three pass breakups and 1.5 tackles for loss in nine contests, all starts.
• He had a pair of double figure tackle games, posting a career-best 11 stops against both Harvard and Princeton.
• He posted a TFL at Columbia and was in on another in the win over Yale.

As a Freshman (2011)
• Imhotep had a strong freshman season as a backup free safety and on special teams.
• He played in all 10 games, earning his first varsity letter, and recorded six tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss and an interception that he returned for a touchdown.
• He had two stops on the Big Red's season-opening win over Bucknell and later in the season took his first career pick back for six from 65 yards out.

At Poly Prep Country Day School
• Imhotep was a four-year member of the varsity team, playing defensive back, linebacker and wide receiver.
• He was rated the No. 11 player in New York City by MSG Varsity as a senior.
• Imhotep competed twice in the Golden Gloves.

Personal
• Rush Imhotep Miller is the son of Benita Miller and has a younger sister.
• His cousin is six-time Pro Bowler NFL great Jerome Bettis, the fifth-leading rusher in history (13,662 yards, 91 touchdowns).
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
