At Cornell
Pearce played in all 10 games while starting seven contests, including each of the last six, at both left guard and right tackle. In doing so, Pearce earned his first varsity letter. Pearce played in three games as a freshman reserve on the offensive line. A talented athlete with a solid base, pearce is expected to again be in the mix on the starting offensive line unit as a junior in 2013.

At Poly Prep Country Day School
Pearce was named the team's most valuable player as a senior at Poly Prep Country Day School as an offensive and defensive tackle as a senior. He was an all-state selection as a senior on the offensive line. The three-year letter winner also earned the team's best two-way lineman award. Pearce was also a four-year letter winner and three-time team MVP in wrestling. He served as team captain as a senior.

Personal
Ryan Thomas Pearce is the son of Charles and Bonnie Pearce and has a younger brother and two younger sisters. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
