As a senior (2017-18)
Track
• Competed at both Heps meets, taking 16th in the 100 meters (10.98) at Outdoor Heps and 10th in the 60 (6.95) at Indoor Heps.
• Set personal record in the indoor 200 (22.64) at the Upstate Challenge, taking fourth overall.
• Won the 200 (22.94) at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open.
• Runner-up in the 60 (6.90) at the Upstate Challenge.
• Tallied five top-five finishes on the year.
As a junior (2016-17)
Football
• Returned five kickoffs over three games for a 15.2 yard average.
• Saw his first varsity action against Princeton, returning three kickoffs for 49 yards and fielded one punt.
• Returned one kickoff for 16 yards against Dartmouth and one for 11 yards at Columbia.
Track
• Competed in four indoor meets and four outdoor meets as a junior.
• Indoors, finished fifth in the 60 at the Upstate Challenge.
• Outdoors, added a second place finish in the 100 at the Cortland Classic Invitational, and had fourth and ninth place finishes in the 100 at the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet and the Big Red Outdoor Invitational, respectively.
As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Had a successful sophomore campaign for the Big Red sprints squad, highlighted by a fourth place finish in the 60 meter dash at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships.
• Outdoors, was part of the first place 4x100 meter relay team at the UC Riverside Spring Break Invitational – the same meet in which he set a person best in the 200 meter dash (22.67).
As a freshman (2014-15)
• Competed primarily in the sprints as a freshman, running to third in the 60 dash in 6.99 seconds at the Southern Tier Open to begin the indoor season.
• During the outdoor season, also competed in the 100, 200 and the 4x100 relay team.
• His relay team won the Ivy League outdoor title in 40.60.
Before Cornell
• Weigel will look to have an immediate impact in the short sprints in his first season for the Big Red.
• He will focus solely on track, after a successful football career at Texas power Southlake Carroll.
