Biography

At Cornell: A solid reserve on the defensive line, Hansen earned his stripes as a long snapper in 2006 for both punts and placements. An energetic defensive lineman, Hansen possesses the technique and speed to make plays all over the field. Hansen will continue to play a key role for the Big Red as a senior. He is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.

At Bear Creek: Hansen was a four-year letter winner at Bear Creek HS. A three-year starter on the football team, he totaled 153 tackles and 17 sacks in his career. Hansen set career highs with 60 tackles (57 solo) and nine sacks as a senior. He also lettered in track and wrestling.

Personal: Spencer Kontny Hansen is the son of Lee and Debra Hansen and has two brothers.
