Cornell University Athletics

Danielle Hemly joined the Big Red in July 2024. Her current team assignments include football, men’s lacrosse, and women’s tennis at Cornell. She also serves as a preceptor for athletic training students from SUNY Cortland.

Hemly attended SUNY Brockport as a 2022 graduate for her degree in Athletic Training. She then attended the University of Florida and graduated with her Doctorate in Athletic Training with a sports performance concentration. During her time at the University of Florida she served as the primary Athletic Trainer for Bell Junior/Senior High School and St. Francis Catholic Academy.

She has been a NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer since 2022. She earned her Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification in 2024 and her Certification in Personal Training in 2021.

Hemly is an Ithaca, NY native and currently resides in Ithaca.
