As a senior (2017)
• Made his first collegiate start in the 2017 opener at Delaware, lining up at left guard.
• Opened the first two games as a starter.
• Played in four total contests.

As a junior (2016)
• Saw action in two varsity contests and was a regular member on the Big Red's travel squad.
• Earned time in the Big Red’s contest against Sacred Heart for his first varsity playing action.
• Also played against Princeton.

As a sophomore (2015)
• Served on the scout team as a sophomore.
• Spent much of the season on the two-deep at right tackle.

As a freshman (2014)
• Spent his freshman season on the scout team on the offensive line.

At Tallwood HS
• An all-league and all-region pick as a senior on the offensive line at Tallwood HS, Goosen was a three-sport star (football, basketball, track and field).
• A two-time team Offensive Lineman of the Year, he was named to the Virginian Pilot All-Tidewater first team and the All-Beach District first team as a senior and an honorable mention pick his junior year.
• He was also a second-team all-region selection by VirginiaPreps.com.
• Goosen advanced to regionals in track and field in the shot put.

Personal
• Theodore James Goosen Jr. is the son of Ted Goosen and Teresa Plasse-Goosen and has a younger brother.
• He has cousins who played women’s lacrosse at Niagara and another that ran cross country and track and field at Union.
• Goosen is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
