Cortazzo missed the entire 2013 season due to injury.

At Mesa C.C.
Cortazzo spent his first two seasons at Mesa Community College where he earned National Football Foundation Junior College Scholar Athlete honors as a sophomore captain. He played in three games as a sophomore before a season-ending injury and posted 11 tackles with a pass breakup and two quarterback hurries. He was the squad’s Special Teams Player of the Year as a freshman.

At Red Mountain HS
Cortazzo posted 23 tackles and a pair of tackels for loss as a senior at Red Mountain HS despite playing only four contests. He was a four year letter winner.

Personal
Trenton Alexander Cortazzo is the son of Robert and Michele Cortazzo and has two younger brothers and a younger sister. His father played football at Carnegie Mellon. He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
