Biography

As a senior (2021)

• Saw action in all 10 contests, making a pair of catches for 34 yards.
• Earned starts at Yale, Bucknell, Colgate and Brown.
• Notched two receptions for a total of 34 yards, including a career-long 29-yard catch, at Bucknell.
 

As a senior (2020)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a junior (2019)

• Saw action in all 10 contests at wide receiver and special teams, making three catches for 15 yards with one carry for three more.
• Hauled in a pair of passes for nine yards in the season-opening win at Marist.
• Caught a 6-yard pass in the win over Brown.
• Had his first career carry for 3 yards against Princeton.
 

As a sophomore (2018)

• Played in six contests at receiver, hauling in seven passes for 54 yards.
• Made his first career reception for a first-down pickup at No. 17 Colgate.
• Also had a 6-yard catch at No. 17 Princeton.
• Caught two passes for 24 yards vs. Penn.
• Had three receptions for 21 yards against No. 23 Dartmouth.
 

As a freshman (2017)

• Did not see varsity action.
 

Prior to Cornell

• DePalma was a three-time first-team all-section selection, twice at quarterback and once at wide receiver, at Ithaca HS.
• Had 46 catches for 460 yards and 10 total touchdowns as a sophomore before moving to quarterback for his final two seasons. 
• A two-year captain, he was a three-time all-conference pick.
• Accounted for 16 touchdowns in just six games as a senior.
• He also played three seasons of basketball (first-team all-league as a junior) and baseball (two-time first-team all-conference).
 

Personal

• Turner William DePalma is the son of Bernie and Mary DePalma and has an older sister.
• His sister, Taylor, played basketball at Cornell.
• His father is the Assistant Athletic Director/The Doc Kavanagh Head Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist for the Cornell athletic department, while his mother Mary received a PhD from Cornell in 1989 and is currently a Professor in the Department of Psychology at nearby Ithaca College.
• As an undergrad, Mary ran track for Penn from 1980-84, serving as team captain and helping the Quakers to a team championship in 1984 before being inducted into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014.
• He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
