Hutton did not see varsity action as a freshman.

At Kapaun Mt. Carmel
An honorable mention all-state selection as a senior at Kapaun Mt. Carmel HS, Hutton was a two-time all-city all-county and all-metro pick on the offensive and defensive lines. He served as team captain as a senior after serving as a four-year letter winner. A varsity power lifter, he earned a state championship in both 2010 and 2011 and finished his career as a state record holder in the squat at 600 pounds.

William Bennett Hutton is the son of Mark and Susan Hutton and has an older brother and two sister. His brother, Thomas, played football for four seasons at Georgetown. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
