• Played in eight contests with five starts, registering 14 tackles with 2.0 for a loss and 1.0 sacks despite battling injuries.
• Had three tackles, including a half-sack, in the season-opening win at Marist.
• Posted one tackle against Ivy preseason favorite Yale.
• His only tackle against Georgetown went for a loss against Georgetown.
• Rejoined the starting lineup at Harvard and posted four tackles and a half-sack.
• Had a pair of stops against both Colgate and Brown.
• Missed the Penn game due to injury.

As a junior (2018)

• Saw action in all 10 games with nine starts.
• Credited with 23 tackles, including 16 solo stops, with 6.5 for a loss and two sacks.
• Had one tackle in the 2018 opener at Delaware and in the win over Sacred Heart.
• Made a pair of tackles, including one for a loss, against Yale.
• Posted three tackles and a sack in the win over Harvard.
• Credited with three tackles, including one for a loss, at No. 17 Colgate.
• Had five tackles, including two for a loss and a sack, in the win at Brown.
• Made three tackles and a half-tackle for loss at No. 17 Princeton.
• Had a streak of 17 consecutive starts on the defensive line end at the Penn game.

As a sophomore (2017)

• Had a breakout sophomore season, starting all 10 games on the defensive line and recording 18 tackles with two for a loss and 1.5 sacks.
• Had three tackles and a sack in his varsity starting debut, the 2017 season opener at Delaware.
• Registered three tackles vs. Colgate.
• Had a half-sack in the win over Harvard.
• Recorded five tackles with one for a loss against Bucknell.
• Credited with two stops in the win at Princeton and again at Dartmouth.
 

As a freshman (2016)

• Spent his rookie year on the junior varsity and practicing with the scout team.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Baker was a senior captain for Phillips Exeter while playing on both the offensive and defensive lines.
• A three-sport star, he earned eight varsity letters, including three in football.
• He was the New England prep school wrestling champion at 220 pounds as a senior.
• Baker also competed for the track and field team as a thrower.
 

Personal

• William Donnelly Baker is the son of Anthony and Patrice Baker and has an older brother and sister.
• His parents, aunt and cousin all attended Cornell.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
