Biography

As a senior (2020)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a junior (2019)

• Played on special teams in all 10 games while also seeing snaps on the offensive line.
 

As a sophomore (2018)

• Saw action in four games as a reserve on the offensive line.
• Made his varsity debut at Delaware.
 

As a freshman (2017)

• Did not see varsity action.  
 

Prior to Cornell

• Rode was a two-time all-league and all-region selection and a three-year starter at Wallenpaupack Area HS.
• As a senior, Rode posted 22 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss, a forced fumble and an interception, on the defensive line. 
• He was named one of the top 100 players in the state after his sophomore, junior and senior years by the Pennsylvania State Football Coaches Association.
• He also was a member of the wrestling team.

• Zachary Vincent Rode is the son of David and Kristina Rode and has a younger sister.
