Biography

At Cornell
Sanderson spent his freshman and sophomore seasons on the scout team on the defensive line before moving over to the offensive line in 2012. He will attempt to break into the lineup as a senior in 2013. 

At Mesquite
Sanderson recorded 39 tackles, including 27 solo stops, as a senior at Mesquite HS to go along with three sacks and a pair of pass breakups. Sanderson had registered 30 tackles as a junior. He was a two-way starter on both the offensive and defensive lines and earned team most improved player honors on both sides of the ball. Sanderson also competed on the track and field team.

Zakary Garret Sanderson is the son of Ron and Rebecca Sanderson and has a younger brother and sister. Sanderson is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
