2024-25 I JUNIOR SEASON

2023-24 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Averaged 7.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 56-32-82 shooting ... saw action in 30 contests with two starts ... had nine double figure scoring efforts ... posted 11 points with three rebounds and two assists in the season-opening win at Lehigh ... made 10 consecutive shots over a three-game stretch, the fifth-longest streak in school history ... made all five shots from the floor en route to 11 points and four rebounds in a win at Fordham ... had 15 points in a win at Harvard ... posted a career-high 18 points in a win at Penn ... posted seven points and six assists in the NIT first round at Ohio State ... averaged 10.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists while shooting 80 percent from the floor (8-of10) and 67 percent from beyond the arc (2-of-3) in two starts.
2022-23 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in four contests as a reserve, scoring two points with two rebounds and an assist in six minutes of action ... made his collegiate debut against SUNY Delhi, ripping down two rebounds ... scored his first collegiate point and added an assist in the win over Lehigh ... joined the team as a walk-on.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Okereke earned third-team all-state honors as a senior at Clovis North HS ... averaged 22.3 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game as a senior ... two-time captain and team MVP ... named the school's Male Athlete of the Year in his final season ... did a prep year at Golden State Prep.
PERSONAL
Akachi Onyedika Okereke is the son of Ken and Odira Okereke and has an older sister, an older brother and two younger brothers ... he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
