Biography

As a junior (2015-16)
• Averaged 9.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.4 blocks per game in 28 games (27 starts).
• Shot a school-record .649 from the floor and connected on 22-of-37 3-pointers (60 percent) for the season.
• Averaged 9.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.4 blocks in Ivy play while shooting 68 percent from thje floor and hitting 12-of-18 3-pointers (67 percent).
• Scored in double figures 14 times.

• Scored 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting with five rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in the return game at home against Dartmouth.
• Netted 16 points to go along with five rebounds, four steals and three assists in the win over Lafayette, hitting 7-of-9 shots from the floor.
• Had a career-high 16 points with two rebounds, two steals and a block in the win over Binghamton, hitting 6-of-7 shots and all four 3-pointers.
• Posted 13 points with eight rebounds and three steals at Brown.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 29 contests (two starts).
• Averaged 16.5 minutes per game, shooting 37 percent from the floor and 76 percent from the free-throw line.
• Collected 13 points, four rebounds, a block and an assist in the win over Canisius.
• Scored seven points in the win at Siena and six in the victory over Howard.
• Scored six points with two rebounds in the win over Brown.
• Had five points and two rebounds vs. Drexel.
• Notched four points and four rebounds in the comeback win over Colgate.

As a freshman (2013-14)
• Smith had a solid rookie season, averaging 5.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals in 19.5 minutes per game while seeing action in all 28 games (10 starts).
• He shot 45 percent from the floor, 37 percent from 3-point range and 78 percent from the line.
• Smith earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors after scoring 12 points, grabbing five rebounds and dishing two assists in his Ivy League debut at Columbia and also scored 14 points with four rebounds, an assist, a block and a steal at Ivy champ Harvard.
• He posted a career-high 15 points in his first Ivy start at Penn and scored 13 points off the bench in an overtime loss to Loyola (MD).
• Smith had 11 points with seven rebounds at Stony Brook.

At Blue Ridge School
• Smith averaged 14.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game as a senior captain at the Blue Ridge School.
• A two-time first-team all-league pick and a two-time team MVP, Smith earned second-team all-league accolades during his junior year.
• That season, Smith averaged 6.2 points, 5.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game for one of the top 20 teams in the state and was part of a team that advanced to the state championship game as a sophomore.
• Smith was a member of the 2012 state championship football team as a defensive back and was a sprinter on the track and field team.
