2025-26 I SENIOR SEASON
Played in 27 contests with 11 starts, averaging 3.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 12.3 minutes per game ... added 12 blocks and 19 made 3-pointers on the year ... opened the season with nine points and five rebounds at Kent State and scored 12 points against Army West Point ... poured in a season-high 16 points on perfect 5-of-5 shooting, including 4-of-4 from 3-point range, against Misericordia ... had nine points, four rebounds and three blocks at UAlbany ... knocked down a pair of 3-pointers against Alfred State ... recorded three blocks against Columbia ... scored four points in a start against Brown ... handed out a season-high eight assists at Dartmouth in the regular-season finale.

2024-25 I JUNIOR SEASON
Averaged 3.4 points, and 1.8 rebounds per contest in 28 contests off the bench … saw 11.9 minutes per contest as a reserve … posted career highs in every category … turned the ball over just three times in 334 minutes of action … opened the season with eight points, five rebounds and two steals against Marywood … posted eight points and five rebounds with 4-of-5 shooting from the floor at La Salle … scored eight points with four boards against Robert Morris … netted nine points with four rebounds in a win at Army West Point … scored eight points with three rebounds against Penn State Schuylkill … had five points, including a 3-pointer made, in contests against both Princeton on the road and Yale at home.

2023-24 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Averaged 1.2 points and 1.1 rebounds in 22 contests, including 13 starts ... made his first collegiate start in a season-opening win at Lehigh ... scored five points in a win over Cal State Fullerton ... posted a career-high six points with two rebounds at Syracuse, connecting on 2-of-4 from 3-point range ... played double figure minutes in 10 different contests.

2022-23 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Averaged 1.0 points and 0.8 rebounds while playing 4.1 minutes per game off the bench in a total of 15 contests ... turned the ball over just once in 61 minutes of action ... shot 43 percent from the floor overall, including 3-of-9 (33 percent) from 3-point range ... had five points, four rebounds and an assist in his collegiate debut against SUNY Delhi ... hit a key first half 3-pointer in the win over Patriot League champion Colgate ... closed the season by matching a career high of five points against Ivy champ Yale in the conference tournament semifinals.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was a four-time all-state selection at the Cannon School ... averaged 22.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a senior en route to second-team all-state honors ... helped his team to a pair of state titles ... nominated to play in the McDonald's All-America game.

PERSONAL
Derrick Barrington Nix is the son of Derrick and Angel Nix and has two younger sisters and a younger brother ... his father was a 1,000-point scorer at UNC Greensboro and was the Big South Conference Rookie of the Year in 1994-95 ... his grandfather, James Swindell, attended Cornell ... he is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
