Played prep basketball at Montgomery HS in San Diego, helping his team capture the San Diego Open championship ... went on to play collegiately at Citrus College, where he started 31 of 32 games as a freshman on a 30-2 squad that reached the 3C2A State Championship Final Four ... averaged 12.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.9 steals per game while shooting .509 from the field and .409 from 3-point range ... made 54 3-pointers on the season ... ranked eighth in the conference in steals ... earned honorable mention all-conference honors.

Jaret Javier Sanchez is the son of Javier and Marisol Sanchez and has two brothers, Melo and Alek ... his brother Melo played at South Dakota and his brother Alek was a teammate at Citrus College ... he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
