2025 | JUNIOR SEASON
Appeared in two games on season, coming against No. 17-ranked Duke (Feb. 23) and Binghamton (April 15) … did not throw a pitch against Duke after exiting in warmups with an apparent injury … ended as losing pitcher against Binghamton after allowing two runs on one hit in one inning of work.

2024 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Logged six outings out of Cornell's bullpen ... four of six appearances featured him pitched at least one inning ... also did not allow any runs in four of six outings ... struck out season-high three batters against Binghamton (April 16), matching career high set against Ithaca (April 4, 2023) during freshman year.

2023 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Made 10 relief outings in first collegiate season ... struck out 10 batters across nine innings of work ... struck out season-high three batters against Ithaca (April 4) ... allowed just one run over his final four outings of season.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Played four years of baseball at Brewster HS, and also wrestled for two years ... named to Section 1 All-League team in 2022.

John Lanre Gerfen is the son of Gary and Kemi Gerfen, and has a sister who also attends Cornell ... enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
