2025 | SENIOR SEASON
Started 31 of his 34 appearances on season, serving as one of four players to play in all of Cornell’s 34 games … led team with 25 RBI and 11 stolen bases … batted .246 with six doubles, one triple, five home runs, and 25 RBI … 11 stolen bases marked second consecutive year with 10-plus steals … had season-high three hits as part of 3-for-6 outing with three RBI against Yale in opening game of March 22 doubleheader … also had three RBI against Brown (March 29) and Princeton (May 3) … concluded season with home runs in all three games against Princeton, leading to be named Ivy League’s Player of the Week (May 6) … had six multi-hit games and led team with nine multi-RBI performances … had team-best 10-game hit streak between March 1-23 and had a 35-game on-base streak, dating back to 2024, which included reaching base safely in first 27 games ... one of four Cornell baseball players named to College Sports Communicators' (CSC) Academic All-District team, marking his second time being honored (2023).
2024 | JUNIOR SEASON
Unanimously named First Team All-Ivy selection after starting all 33 appearances (29 in left field, four in right field) ... concluded season with .378 batting average with nine doubles, two triples, five home runs, and 20 RBI ... stole team-leading 10 bases, going 10-for-12 on steal attempts ... 56 hits tied with Ken Veenema (1977) for fifth in Cornell history, trailing Guy Leach (61 in 1988), Nathan Ford (59 in 2008), Erik Rico (57 in 2002), and Brian Billigen (2012); figure was tied for sixth in Ivy League ... concluded year with second-highest batting average (.378) among eligible Ivy League hitters ... batted .423 in conference games, one of three Ivy League hitters to hit .400 in contests against Ancient Eight opposition ... led Ivy League in hits in conference play (42), lone player to reach 40-hit plateau in 2024 ... notched trio of four-hit efforts against Harvard (April 7), Penn (April 14), and Yale (April 20), one of two Cornell players since 2003 with at least three four-hit games in a season (Marshall Yanzick - 2012) ... hit walk-off two-RBI double in opening game of April 20 doubleheader against Yale, capping latest four-hit game of season; bloop two-run double solidified eight-run comeback for Big Red, which trailed 8-0 in bottom of eighth inning ... received Ivy League Player of the Week honors on April 22 after slashing .588/.667/1.118 (1.784 OPS), going 10-for-17 with three doubles, two home runs, five RBI, three stolen bases while striking out zero times during Big Red's 3-1 week against Binghamton and Yale ... selected as Cornell's nomination for Academic All-Ivy award.
2023 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Emerged as team's leadoff hitter while splitting time as catcher and designated hitter ... batted .278 with six doubles, one triple, one home run and 14 RBI ... paced team with 28 runs scored ... hit first collegiate home run and drove in season-high three RBI against Purdue Fort Wayne (March 4) ... went 3-for-5 with three runs, a double, and an RBI against George Mason (March 19) ... logged doubles in three consecutive games from March 19-26 ... successful on 8-of-11 stolen base attempts ... swiped two bases against Ithaca (April 4).
2022 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Appeared in 12 games in first collegiate season. First start came against Harvard (March 25) ... recorded hits in first three collegiate appearances against Coppin State (March 6), Maryland (March 13), and Richmond (March 18).
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Played baseball at Menlo-Atherton HS, aiding team to 20-7 overall record and 13-1 mark in league play during senior year.

John Michael Quinlan is the son of Paul and Julie Quinlan, and has one sister ... currently enrolled in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning.
