Spent 2025-26 season with OHL’s Erie Otters, posting 23 points (12-11—23) in 58 games … split 2024-25 campaign between BCHL’s West Kelowna Warriors and Erie, combining for 37 points (21-16—37) in 65 games … had 42 points (23-19—42) during 2023-24 season with West Kelowna and had nine points (3-6—9) in six playoff games … earned bronze medal with Team USA at 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Breclav and Trencín, Czechia.

Callum James Hughes is the son of Ryan and Tara Hughes, and has two sisters ... father, Ryan, was a second-round pick (22nd overall) by Québec Nordiques in 1990 NHL Draft and played four years of college hockey at Cornell (1989-93), amassing 131 points (46-85—131) in 112 games and served as a two-time captain of Big Red (1991-93) ... Ryan played professionally for four years after Cornell, highlighted by playing three games with Boston Bruins in 1995-96 ... uncle, Kent Hughes, is in his fourth full season as Montréal Canadiens' general manager ... cousins, Riley (2019-23) and Jack Hughes (2021-23), both played college hockey ... Riley played four years at Northeastern (2019-23) before spending a post-grad season at Ohio State (2023-24) and is now playing with ECHL's Savannah Ghost Pirates ...
