2024-25 | JUNIOR SEASON
Received Second Team All-ECAC Hockey honors after concluding season with 27 points (15-12—27) in 36 appearances, one of nine Cornell players to play in every game … had season-high four points against St. Lawrence (Feb. 22 – 3-1—4), registering Cornell’s lone hat trick of season … had three-point effort against Brown (Nov. 9 – 2-1—3), along with five other multi-point outings … scored multiple goals against Brown (Nov. 9), Princeton (Jan. 17), Yale (Feb. 15), and St. Lawrence (three – Feb. 22) … scored team-leading four game-winning goals (Brown – Nov. 9; Princeton – Nov. 23; UMass – Jan. 3; Princeton – Jan. 17) … also had three power-play goals and two short-handed goals, becoming first Cornell player with multiple GWG, PPG, and SHG within same season since Riley Nash (2 GWG, 4 PPG, 2 SHG) in 2008-09 … blocked 21 shots, the most of any Cornell forward ... named to 2025 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

2023-24 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Earned ECAC Hockey Third Team honors after registering 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) in 34 games ... seven of 12 goals on season were power-play markers, the second-most by an ECAC Hockey player ... seven PPG were most by a Cornell player since Tristan Mullin (7) in 2019-20 ... had a trio of multi-goal efforts, two of which came against Quinnipiac (Nov. 17 and Jan. 20) and the other versus Clarkson (Feb. 23) ... nine multi-point games, including three-point night against Quinnipiac on Nov. 17 (2-1—3) ... logged pair of four-game point streaks (2-2—4 from Dec. 1-30; 1-5—6 from March 15-23).

2022-23 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Finished freshman campaign as leading scorer of any Big Red first-year player, logging 21 points (9+12) in 33 games ... five of Bancroft's nine goals came while Cornell was on power play ... logged first career hat trick in Frozen Apple at Madison Square Garden against UConn (Nov. 26), becoming second Cornell player in program history to score a hat trick at the venue (Dick Bertrand) ... hat trick at MSG was last contest of a four-game point streak in which he posted seven points (4+3) ... named ECAC Hockey Rookie and Forward of the Week following performance against UConn ... three-time Rookie of the Week honoree (Nov. 28, Jan. 23, and Feb. 6) ... logged pair of game-winning goals (UConn - Nov. 26; Princeton - Jan. 21) ... also had two-goal game against Union (Feb. 4), where he matched season-high output for points (2+1) ... named to watch list for Tim Taylor Award (nation's top freshman player) on Feb. 9. 

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Named an OJHL First Team All-Star and was league's Most Valuable Player after recording league-high 92 points (37 goals, 55 assists) while serving as captain of Trenton Golden Hawks ... during six years in OJHL, logged 153 points (64 goals, 89 assists) over 149 games ... played one season of hockey on Centre Hastings Secondary School's varsity team, earning Rookie of the Year honors ... also played one season of volleyball and three years of baseball ... four-time honor roll student while at Centre Hastings.

PERSONAL
Dalton Spencer Bancroft is the son of Steve and Pam Bancroft, and has an older sister ... father, Steve, was a former first-round pick (21st overall) of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1989, and played 16 seasons professionally, including six NHL games with Chicago (1992-93 - one) and San Jose (2001-02 - five) ... enrolled in the SC Johnson School of Business.
